Our story
Altitude Travel started in 2025 when James, one of Altitudes founders, realised that planning a trip for himself and his family had become a fragmented, hours‑long chore. After countless tabs, endless spreadsheets, and a lack of trustworthy recommendations, he asked himself: What if a traveler could simply say what they are thinking, where they might want to go, who would be going with them, etc, and receive a complete, personalised itinerary in seconds?
After extensive idea-testing with others like himself: digital natives, digital nomads and frequent travellers. He validated the pain point wasn't just one he was seeing but was widespread in the community. After discussions with a few friends, two other co-founders who saw the pain point and the potential in the idea came aboard and that became our founding team.
Leveraging our deep technology backgrounds, travel‑industry expertise, and cutting‑edge AI protocols, we began working on the Peregrine engine - a flexible, real‑time engine that understands natural‑language travel intents, pulls live inventory from suppliers, and stitches it together with a community‑driven recommendation layer. Today we’re building the first version of the platform and testing with a growing community of digital natives, digital nomads and frequent travellers. We are on-track for a public launch sometime in Q1-Q2 2026.
